Fourth generation. Karl Polzhofer III. transfers his shares to his children Karl-Hans, Stefan and Karin, who lead the company to a bright future.
Award. KAPO and Neue Wiener Werkstätte are honored with the title »Best Family Business in Styria 2005«.
Coat of arms of Austria. In 2007, KAPO windows and doors is distinguished with the coat of arms of Austria (Oesterreichisches Staatswappen" for the outstanding quality of the products.
Furniture production site. By building a new, larger furniture production facility, state-of-the-art eco-friendly prdocution process could be defined.
Wiener Werkstätte - Jodlbauer. KAPO takes over the upholstered furniture production of Jodlbauer GmbH in Vienna as well as the trademark »Wiener Werkstätten«.
Windows. In 1979, a new window production plant for 110 employees was built and so the window production facility was separated from the furniture production plant.
Jodlbauer. The upholstered furniture manufacturer Jodlbauer acquires the trademark »Wiener Werkstätten« and offers high quality upholstered furniture on a global scale under the trademark. Jodlbauer supplies premium furniture stores and also counts Roche-Bobois to his clients.
New production site. The first big production and administration facility was built at Schmiedgasse. Today it houses the production of upholstered furniture.
Carpentry. After World War II, Karl II. continues operating the company with a few employees. The company will grow over the following years.
Foundation. Karl Polzhofer I. founds a carpentry workshop in Pöllau, Austria. He also established a family tradition, that still thrives today.
